Single Leg Vs. Puddle Theory
Everyone who is anyone has a famous theory, or theorem to be smart. Darwin has his theory of evolution, Einstein had his theory of relativity and Hooke made up the law of elastic substances. OK, maybe the last one isn’t as famous, but all the same it’s just as important as the others are.
Now I may only be a schoolchild, with nothing greater than SATS and effort grades under my belt, but I can still prove that my law has and/or will make a difference to your everyday life. Presenting "The Robe’s Law of Single Leg vs. Puddle". Imagine you are going home after a hard day at school/work, it has recently been raining so the ground is wet. Now, running though puddles you would usually get you very wet legs, but bearing in mind TRLoSLvP (The Robe’s Law of Single Leg vs. Puddle) you don't have to get wet at all. The Robes Law says that when one jumps into a static pool of water with ONLY ONE LEG you will NOT get wet. I.e. Hopping. This is because when one steps into a puddle it is scientifically proven that the water will only go sideways. So stepping with one leg only will keep your other leg as dry as, something very dry. Go on, next time it has rained, jump in a puddle with one leg, you’ll be just as dry as before you jumped in! Amazing. This simple law, when applied to everyday life, will make your existence so much better. Thank "The Robe". Note; TRLoSLvP has been copyrighted in 49 countries of the world, so when jumping one legged into a puddle you are liable to be sued, so don’t actually try it. © The Robe 2000 Article Written by the Robe robhendy@btinternet.com |
