I have not really been writing articles at the online net for that long because of the early rivalry between my site, the offline net and this here one. Since I have begun to write for them as well as keeping my own alive I have not been able to write as many articles as I may have wanted to. I have had many ideas but as yet not had the time to think about them and write them down. But since I’ve been viewing the site on a regular basis I thought that this being the 100th ton article it would be nice to congratulate the other members of the online net for doing such a great job. So well done every body.

There is one person in particular that I would personally like to thank and that is Jameson. Thank you for the great articles that you have provided, the tears and mainly laughter that your articles have bought us have certainly brighten and enlightened our days. I have found myself looking back through his articles on a regular basis and still find them all very funny. The main reason that I believe that he deserves great thanks is that without his large number of articles, the online net would not be celebrating the fact that it has reached the big one hundred. I believe that all of the writers at ton are grateful for the work that Jameson has done and hope that he keeps up the good work and provides us all with comedy genius for a long time to come.

I would also like to say well done to jay, the creator for making this site look so impressive. I was first impressed with the very first layout, times new roman, bright colours and the active clock (was impressive ‘back then’). The layouts have changed a lot since then and used to change on a fairly regular basis but now it seems to have got to a point where anything else would look unprofessional. There are the odds tweaks here and there but nothing drastic that could be classed as a complete layout change. So jay, keep up the good work, I’m looking forward to your ‘what I can’t see from where I’m sitting’ article whenever that is due!

The Robe, Godfather, Hendrix. Well what can I say, your earlier days here at the online net were fairly quiet but I must say that the few articles that you have done as co-creator of the online net have been rather good. I found that your article on foot vs. puddle was most interesting and do believe that your theory is correct, I have tested it a number of times and the majority of the times wetness to the legs is cut down to a very minimum apart from once when the puddle went over my foot and I got very wet. Anyway I hope to see more articles from you in this year of 2002.

For the rest of the writers, Rawson, Rusty and Rog I would like to thank you to. Rawson because without your confused relations with the online net would not have had a couple of stories about you joining and then leaving the online net. What ever your link to the online net is now I hope for you to continue writing articles. Rusty for the articles that have brought a different view towards a number of subjects and finally Rog, although having never met him in person I would like to say that the articles that he has provided to ton have been most interesting and hope to see more from him and all of the other ton writers in the forth coming future.

Lets just hope that 2002 will see articles 200 and beyond coming in with style and for the quality to keep on rising. I hope to try and do more articles for the online net as well as keep the offline net alive as well. Well done all at TON.
