A Tribute to Oasis ![]() I cannot think of any of the songs they have produced that I could not class as a musical masterpiece, from the music to the lyrics are all perfectly composed within each song and you have got to hand it to them, every time they release a song you know that it is going straight to number one. They are truly the best. I remember being introduced to their music over five years back and from the moment I listened to one of their songs I was hooked on all of their work and have been to this very day. Rarely a day passes where I do not listen to at list one song by them. Getting my hands on a copy of the album 'What's the story (Morning Glory)' was probably one of the best things musically that has ever happened to me, the album has been with me for a long time now and is my most treasured album of them all. Songs such as Wonderwall, She's Electric and my favourite of all time, Don't Look Back In Anger are all on this album. I know that many people see the Gallagher brothers to be nasty pieces of work but I do not see them for that, I see them for what great music they produce, people should not take notice of what they do in their private life and just take a good look at what great music they can and have and will always be producing. It had been a long time since Oasis had brought out and album, or even a single, but now half-way through the year of 2002 Oasis have already brought out a number one hit, Hindu Times and now about to to release their second single of the year, Stop Crying Your Heart Out. Both of these singles have been taken from the soon to be released album, 'Heathen Chemistry', I have no doubt that 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' will go straight to number one not just because it is Oasis and every piece of work they produce is suberb but because it is one that is on the same wave length, in a funny kind of way, of that of Don't Look Back In Anger. I am loving the song at the moment and can't get enough of it. Oasis, ![]() ryan.kent71@btopenworld.com |
