The Iain (Rawson) Study, part 4

I decided to appoint myself Executive Assistant to the Rawson Study project, I tried to ask Jameson if this was alright, but he wasn't around. I tried to ask Dr Shields, but he wasn't about either so I asked the only person left in the institute, and I said yes, so here I am.

The key to the Rawson Study so far has been round the clock observation and critical scientific analysis and whilst this is almost flawless in theory I feel one important factor has been overlooked. The factor I speak of is other people's reactions to the subject through their own experiences or those of their family or close associates. Therefore I decided to consult some of the most brilliant minds my contact list had to offer so I could reach some truly enlightening conclusions.

Rich says: hes alrite
Andrew says: hes alrite

The first thing I noticed was that little or no compassion was shown towards our subject, no love but then no hate. Instead people tended to pick up on his abnormalities, such as "stalking rog" or his hair. "I think he may be quite smart if u ignore the curley hair and weird things he comes out with" - Andrew Ainsworth

ryan says: i think that he is a greebo and is supposedly changing over night - somehow, somewhere, sometime
jay says: changing to what
ryan says: 'standard' person, or what he calls a 'townie', or like 'us lot'
jay says: have you got any evidence of this
ryan says: i have a conversation that mentions it if that helps

This might prove useful in future studies, so for just that I present:
Exhibit A: The conversation

By reading this unedited evidence you can clearly see that the subject is insecure and wishes to be accepted by his peers, this will lead to unnatural often eccentric actions in an effort to fit in, such as altering his appearence. However this would lead to quite the opposite effect in practise as the main group will be offended by what they will see as an 'imitation'. We at the institute await any related actions with a pen and a notepad.

ryan also says: he seems to be on drugs, and he drinks too much dr pepper

Rich had the following to say:
Texans are living proof that indians screwed buffalows says: good mate
Texans are living proof that indians screwed buffalows says: tends to stack his bike alot
Texans are living proof that indians screwed buffalows says: he talks fucking fast
Texans are living proof that indians screwed buffalows says: and he has an afro

Alot of people had alot of short comments to make on this man, whether this means they are just lazy we don't know. It could mean that they don't see him worthy of lengthened thought or consideration. The length of their words could represent the shortness of their tolerance for him or shortness of something else, don't ask me - I'm just an assistant, Dr Shields does the hands on work around here.

There was quite a few references to his appearence, mainly his hair or his "nice afro" though these complimentary comments are more often that not shortly followed by 'howevers' and 'buts' such as: "but unfortunately he likes macs" and is "also a bit lazy". People seemed to become more hostile the more I probed their minds, they became bitter and angry over the subjects contribution to the community he leeches from - "hasn't updated wank for a hell of a long while". In the face of this anger and possibly dangerous behaviour I ran for the hills to the safety of Dr Shield's shack where he would give me a cup of coco and some cookies, still warm from the oven.
