This is the diary of Dr. Rog. It chronicles some of the mundane tasks he went though while working at the Institute of Rawson Study. Week 550:
" Monday:
Today I went down to the enclosure to see how the subject was acting, no one was around so I signed in and sat down to watch how the Rawson was acting now. It’s been ten years since the project started. He doesn’t seem to have changed mentally or physically at all, he now doesn’t move all day unless his Mac makes a sound at which point he walks over to the key board and bashes it a few times then he goes back to sleep.
Tuesday:
Today I played poker with Dr. Jameson, Dr. Shields, Dr. Jay and Groundsman Kent. Kent was cheating but I didn’t care, I wanted to use the phone today but Jameson was calling his girlfriend and didn’t come off.
Wednesday:
I went to the cage with Dr. Jay today and the subject was missing and the cage door was opened! We frantically searched the complex but all we found was Old Man Kent’s body, serves him right for cheating.
Thursday:
The subject returned today after breaking in to Dr. Jameson’s house yesterday, we knew that it was Rawson because the bin was empty and his cat was pregnant. The creature also came back with a big roll of posters of women. He continued to stick them up all over his cage until he fell asleep with his back on the ground and his legs up a wall. My conclusion is that he is turning into a student.
Friday:
Today we decided to test the subject’s reaction to being woken up by a phone call. We each phoned him up during the day. Each time he walked to the phone, picked it up and said “Grrr, at ak! Miii, wump.” and hung up, most interesting. "
