The Prom: Pre-Prom

All began well. The event had been planned for quite some time - over a year in fact, and it was well known to be a complete waste of time. Yet still, certain people *no names mentioned* where going crazy about their 'limousines', 'prom dresses', and 'prom dates'. Some call me bitter, I call myself realistic.

So school had just ended, and we had all suddenly been thrust into dark space. The mountain of work and deadlines - that had previosly plagued our existence, had suddenly relinquished, and we were totally free to do everything that we always wanted to.

And yet there was nothing to do. We all became to lazy to make a start due to our '2 month' holiday from time, and so we fell into a routine of waking at 2pm, spending the day watching TV/PC Screens/Lawrence Wheeler. After a while - time lost all meaning, and we suddenly found ourselves with the job of getting ready for the prom itself. The tickets had been ordered, colected, and lost. The suits had stil to be ordered. The transport had to be bodged, and strangely an odd feeling of losing control had arrisen.

The first thing one must do to get out of the trap. is to take things one step at a time. The limousine had been booked with Kent, and it was my understanding that the suit could not be booked untill a week before the event due to 'Coes' (winner of FHM awards a many) strange booking procedures.

Then due to a bizzaar decision by Alan, it was deduced that I was already going in a limosine, and so he promply kicked me from the list. Also, Ryan and shields dropped the orriginal idea of going to town in a joint visit, and so I found that I must arrange the trip thought 'rent transport.

I delegated the task of transport to Lawrence Wheeler, whilst I went to "Burtons Menswear" with my mother. I saw Mr Rolls on the way there - although that is in no way related.

At burtons, they told me about Kent and Creggors - who had already booked the items of beauty - and they were that. I have seen pictures from almost everyone - who took photo's of themselves in their prom attire.

Anyway - I got back to hear rumours of Lawrence's father trying to out bid certain other significant party's for the limousine - I was not ammused. However - luckily he was able to book a small rolls royce - much to lawrence's orgasm... I mean enjoyment.

So we were finally ready to actually go to this 'special' event of 'great magnitude'.
