100 Things About: Life


  1. Women live longer, on average than men.
  2. Many people consider themselves to have a poor quality of life, even though they have all required amnenities.
  3. Most of the TON crew appear to be wasting between 60% and 99% of there time.
  4. surprisingly - whilst life is one of the most important things that highlight this planet as different from others, it is incredibly hard to think of 100 things to actually write about it.
  5. Of the different stages of life, adulthood is the longest.
  6. Whilst Childhood seems to be the longest at first, this is quickly overtaken by adulthood as time passes.
  7. Without time, life cannot exist.
  8. Time destroys.
  9. Nothing on Earth appears to have a life span longer than 1000 years. This includes certain plants and trees.
  10. Most people begin life with dreams of making a change to other peoples lives.
  11. Most people end up working for mega global corporations, and are but pawns.
  12. Of course, as we are still unemployed, we still have the dreams for making a difference.
  13. Thirteen is considered an unlucky number by the most people.  Even those who don't consider themselves to be supersticious have a tendancy to avoid the number if possible.
  14. 8 is a common 'lucky' number. Many people who don't have a lucky number will choose 8 if asked.
  15. 8 is divisible by both 2, and 4, and yet is under 10.
  16. Spring is noted as the time for 'rompous' activity, whist summer is the time for living.
  17. Winter is not.  Although when shown images of snow, most people think about either snowball fights, or snowmen.
  18. A few sad people think about sitting alone, in the cold.
  19. Almost everything that you injest causes some damage to the body, for some items however, the damage is outweighed by potential gain from vital nutrients.
  20. For other items, such as cutlery, there are no potential gains, and damage is often severe.
  21. Whilst most people see life as the most important thing in the world, they actualy spend the greatest part of their time earning money. 
  22. The most valued thing in someones wallet, is either their credit card, or their spare condom, and not the photo of their only daughter.
  23. By calculation, their are arround 6 bilion people in the world, recent internet use statistics show that 4 bilion people have access to the net.  This would require a vast number of people from the third world, india, pakistan, and mexico to be online. So where is all their web content?  Where do I find the homepage for Mr and Mrs Akban?
  24. Whilst life is important, most people believe supoeriority is shown through their work - however tedious.
  25. The majoriy of people give less that £10 to charity per month. 
  26. Work and life are often considered integral parts of each other, and yet when asked what they would do with £10 million, most people say that they would give up work.
  27. If you have read this far without a break, then you should consider inproving yours.
  28. A LAN party, is often considered to be somthing of a sad affair, but being with friends in a non hostile environment is of equal fun to going to a more frnetic party.
  29. Of course it is unlikely that you will 'pull' at a LAN party.
  30. Most people would like to be married by the age of 30.
  31. Statistics show, that on average, most parents have children whilst in there late 20's.  This is where they have a sufficient capital to support such growth.
  32. The Capital is also the main city/conorbation of a country.
  33. The majority of people believe that the most effective part of the new iMac range, is it svivel and tilt one finger LCD display. 
  34. Life seems longer at the beggining and shorter in the middle.
  35. The blue man group - from the Intel Pentium III adverts, have a stage show in the USA.
  36. I do not have a stage show in the USA.
  37. Although Portman  Road is the official football ground for the Ipswich Team, I have never once been through the gates.
  38. I pride myself in trying to have good spelling and grammar, even when it is not required. Sadly however - it was not until the GCSE English exam, that I realised that Grammar is spelt with an 'a' and not a 'e'.
  39. I do believe that I have failed at least the English exam.
  40. Jameson had the crazy luck, to be possitioned exactly below his girlfriend (of rediculous stature) - in the final photo of our year, before we left the school for good (summer).
  41. MacOSx is labelled MacOS 10.1 by Pc World. 
  42. MacOSx never crashes - its turning the machine off thats the problem, even crashing the system doesnt stop it - it just restarts the critical applications.
  43. Whilst windows have copied the start menu from Apple, it seems to be better than the apple menu, this gives windows an advantage in the computing regime.
  44. Live in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and strong odours.
  45. Tesco employees believe that Store manager is the final goal.  Everyone else sees not working anywhere near Tesco's as the final goal.
  46. I doubt that 90% of Tesco employee's actualy know where the TESCO characters stem from, I shall not be one to enlighten them.
  47. My life must be quite dull, in that I gain pleasure from writing such filth.
  48. Even though i write at 1pm on a sunday, Jay and myself are the only ones awake.
  49. David Randall is presumably enjoying his own company.
  50. Townie population of Greater Kesgrave predicted to be 40 people.  All within the 10 to 30 age range.
  51. Greeb population of Greater population has fallen from arround 70, to just 15 after skateboarding was dissaloud.  The population can now be found near Greater Tesco's
  52. Normal population consists of us.
  53.  Although Alan frequently describes me as not normal.
  54. Lawrence is still aiming for, and self-proclaiming himself to be a "greebo".
  55. I only just worked out that ITV stands for Independant Television.
  56. I should really be working on my Sixth Form preperation work, this is just a break for me.
  57. Myself.  My work.  My word.  My life.
  58. jay has been seen to skateboard.  It only happened once or twice, but he can say that in his life he had skateboarded at least once.
  59. Its surprising that I ever began to skateboard professionally - since when I was 5 I almost broke my nose on one, before giving up for 10 years.
  60. 10 years, or a decade, is approximately a sixth of someones life.
  61. Appropriately, life concludes in death, much like a train concludes in a station.
  62. Despite having a decent AMD athlon which I can use, I am writing this article on my trusty 233mmx.
  63. Even the iMac is faster, although it doesn't have the possability of twin monitors.
  64. Even PC Nick Day has remarked on watching Channel 5 late night on a friday. Dirty Fecker...
  65. Despite being forcably removed from Tesco's Car Park on many a occasion, we are yet to be arrested, and have only been shouted at once.
  66. Lawrence has been the exception to this rule.  He has been recorded.
  67. Despite being hated by Tesco Stores - the majority of us are actualy supplied with food stuffs from there.  Without tesco's we would have to return to the orangeness of J.S.Sainsbury's.
  68. I was disturbed arround 8 times by my parents this morning, before I actually got up.  I still have not had a shower however.
  69. A sexual position which can enable life.  Don't make me draw you a picture.
  70. The lack of articles from myself, can be attributed to one of but a few things.  One of these being my busy life.  Sadly though - I found out that my life was not that busy at all.
  71. Jay's comment on my idea for further articles, was "good thinking".
  72. From my contact list, I have blocked a number of people.  I wander if this makes any kind of difference to their lives.
  73. American woman. They are said to be always looking for long term commitment.
  74. Life is like one giant inbox, with place for a few archives and a stack of old bills in the outbox.
  75. Some people enjoy life, eating lots of sweets but getting lots of fillings.  Other eat more sensibly and have good teeth - but which enjoyed life to a greater degree.
  76. A dentist is often feared by adults and children alike.  Personally I think they did an incredible job on Rob's teeth.
  77. Swing ball gives an incredible view of life, where everything that goes arround, comes arround. Often hitting you in the back of the head.  A tennis raquet does nothing but speed up this affair.
  78. A revolution is not a good thing unless there is change for the good.
  79. Many people live thier lives in dread of the return of evil.
  80. Others do not.
  81. I have spent arround an hour writing this article so far, and I am still no closer to the end.  Some would call it a waste of time. Others would call it a  waste of life.
  82. Nice guys usually finish last, because they do not have the drive to step over others towards the final goal.
  83. Fat people are often equally worrying as very thin people.  "it would be like shagging a bicycle".
  84. Unemployment has the same feel as death - its being lost in the dark fog of the soul.
  85. Jay was right - writing a hundred things about anything is neither a life changing event - nor particularily easy.
  86. House plants have life, but a rollercoaster gives enjoyment.
  87. The sun beaming down on a beautifull summers day is most peoples view of bliss, whilst heaven is viewed as rolling clouds and beethoven playing table tennis with Einstein.
  88. 67% of Office workers survive on coffee.
  89. In the past, many office workers also had a lunch comprising of a pot noodle, and some crisps.
  90. During the depression of the late 1930's, many office workers were unable to eat pot noodles, and threw themselves out of their windows.
  91. In a  suicide situation, it is the stupid people who usually survive.  They try to jump out of the first floor.
  92. Suicide is view by many as the ultimate sin.  It is believed that if the person does not wish to live - they should try to help others, and not just make a mess.
  93. A laptop could be a life changing thing.  It offers the backgarden as a venue for a LAN.
  94. A twin monitor machine has one big drawback - in that the screens block out all natural light from outside.
  95. Everyone said that we should have a firm understanding of what we would like to do after leaving school, but from what I have seen - the only people who really understand are Creggors, and Ling - who have both left to train in work.
  96. Life is neither sweet nor sour.  It is alive.
  97. Death is the end of life.  100 is the end of this article.
  98. Of all the things in the world that are alive, we consider ourselves to be the most inportant.  However - in all importancy - there are more insects, for example spiders in just one country than the number of us in the world.
  99. The prelude to life, is birth.
