Just Like A Pill

“As I pen this letter” was a statement once used by the original form teacher, who left to join the Germans in Africa, but I use it again in this article to mark the beginning of something beautiful. This is the beginning of an article that has no basis in reality – this is about the prophecy that has become live journal:

Live journal has been known around these parts for at least a year now. I for get who originally gave me the code to get one, but I thank them kindly, as it has spawned into something greater.

The community has been massively great for years, however our little group of people have only really been into the site for around 8 months. As I joined, there were known members – such as Jay, and others, but as time passed, my entries became more boring – there was nothing of consequence to write about, and – even though there were new people joining (people like Nickolas, and Lawrence) the whole situation was getting more and more boring.

So I gave it up for a month or two – and this reflected the view of many people, such as Robyn, and Rich, who passed the “this is a fun way of expressing myself” stage, and moved onto the “think how many perverts read this, I may as well just write a Diary” stage. I gave it up for a while, and some people even deleted there journals. After a while, I rekindled the spirit of live journal and started to post pictures, and random things that had no place elsewhere. Seeing its use in this way, jay asked if he could share my journal, and it was done. A new dawn of live journal use was upon us, where we would spend our time insulting those below us, and swearing at those above.

However as soon as it started, others joined the rat race. People like Rob and Ryan took over Robyn’s account. And then Jennifer and Jack shared a live journal. I made comments to them both as to how “odd it was to have them two sharing a live journal” and just as I thought, they were going out within a fortnight.

So, here we stand – with out little community compacted into the incoherent ramblings of a few people, and the only reason for participating, is to insult people and then watch for there comical reactions. An example of this was where I called one person a whore, and within two days, she had apologized to us for anything she had done wrong in her life. This particularly made me laugh.
