I haven’t been sleeping well lately. Monday last (it doesn’t matter which Monday really) I was lying in bed, considering sleep – when my mind began to drift. Something quirky came into my head – so I began to write. It turned out to be quite a stupid idea, but I needed to get it out of my head.

Here it is, typed out from my notepad for your glory:

"You know that when you stop talking, you can keep talking inside your head; well – what voice does that speech have? Does it sound like you? Does it sound like anything? Does it really exist? And is it speaking your language?

If you are French do you think in French or is there some sort of universal thought language that you assume is you dialect. If so, it would be the most elite language around – however if synthesised this voice could control all minds causing the possibility of world domination.

The voice isn’t real, but it has so much power."

As can be seen, I get rather psychotic at certain times during the night. I’m usually all-rite around 4am; it’s when I get my work done.
