Hulley's Reply to 'The Rise and Fall of TON Magic'

[ View Original Article ]

It seems clear that the downfall of Ton Magic was inevitable because the community stopped playing Magic, as they found something better to do. Although I do agree some of the articles written were poor it was the race for the elusive milestone article that was mainly the cause of these. Such an article must have been of some importance as Randy chose his first article to correspond with the elusive spot. The fact that TON Magic fell was due to many factors some involving the irregular updating methods and others involving the fact that the site was used to publish random comments, which strangely enough wide asleep is used for now. This is all in the past now and what encourage me to write a response, and my first ever non TON Magic article, were the comments made by a one Justin King.

Not only are the comments false it raises questions about Justin himself. First of all if he is struggling with his sexuality? It is not my problem or other TON readers. Secondly if he has to hide behind the TON network and use it to make his presence known, what does it say about his standing as a person?

Although, somehow, I knew that my complaint would not be upheld but the network part run by Justin I felt that I had to do something. Therefore I created this article and just hope that Justin can find the professional help that he needs with his problems. I ask you not to feel angry but sorry for him as he clearly has issues which need to be resolved.

Just think an apology would have sufficed, not publishing the document would have been better, but to someone whose desperate need to be loved these things were overlooked and I pity him.

My condolences
Mark
