Ok, so alot of people keep asking me when something will be updated and the answer is now. There are 2 new Articles, both on the subject of extreme modding. There are apparently many more writings around the place, various people have mentioned various projects and ideas, but until they arrive on my desk they are nothing but the myths and legends that fill up the children's story books across the land,
As for anything else... I'm far too busy not doing the things I should be to put much effort into this at the moment.

the second thing;
the second thing you must do is: listen. Not listen in the primary definitive, but further afield to places that seem familiar, yet you can't quite picture them in your head. The Iain Study is the most successful cult article of all time, with 9 Parts it has exceeded all expectations and contenders, including As Time Goes By and.. well that's about it. It's success has been well earned, however within the next few weeks a date will be announced that will signal the closure of The Institute's Iain Rawson file, which in simple terms means: no more Iain Study. Until then however, it would be nice to reach 10 and beyond... it's not over just yet.
RandyLAN5 has come and gone, keep an eye on LAN Central for it's appearence anytime now. Latest news on The Community is the addition of a couple new XProfiles, and that it should be up before the end of the month if things go smoothly, and Rawson sustains the will to live.

I haven't written anything here for a while, but those of you who can think for yourselves may have noticed everything else still got updated, new articles here, and Lessons 2 & 3 of Paulo Watch are now available.
Digital Cameras have made their first appearences in sixth form, and so far a combined total of over 20 photos of Pandy swearing at the camera have been counted, and there's definately more in him. Considering the amount of pictures taken so far, and the possible amount that could be taken, and the request for this from Rawson, we may add a 'Rawson's Pictures' area. Somewhere in the basement of TON, hidden away from view, where Iain can amuse himself by uploading pictures from during the day,
and I know I just changed the colour, clever aren't I?

after the party, it's the after-party
There's a LiveJournal commenting obsession going 'round at the moment, people throwing insults, people defending the insulted, people oblivious, and all the rest. This has meant that people are now reading journals which aren't at all interesting, written by equally dull and bearly literate people, just for the comments. On the flip side however, it's keeping the kids off the streets and away from the temptations of social relationships and exercise, which we can all appreciate.
I wrote this whilst at Rawson's House yesterday, and just wanted to take this opportunity to give my condolences over his internet situation. I've never seen him like that, a broken man tortured by connectivity and stability issues, something we can all relate to. Watch this space for an exclusive interview with Rawson on life, love and Single-line Digital Subscriber Lines coming soon.
As Randy pointed out yesterday, TON has franchised alot of it's various sections now. In the beginning everything was run and stored at TON HQ and run by myself. Now another section is being put into different hands, following the creation of KENT's and Randy taking over LAN Central, Community Football will now be moving under KENT's control. And with the upcoming franchising of the Profiles, now known as The Community to Rawson of Wide Asleep Networks, I think he has a point. Maybe we should launch an 'Adopt an Article' scheme...

I can't really explain the reasoning, however it's subject to change at any time, but Rawson said it has potential, and he's usually right. Sometimes.
Tomorrow we start sixth form, I can't really explain the reasoning behind that either, but it seems to interfer with my sitting around doing nothing everyday, so I'm going to check it out. Possible review coming soon, and on a reasonably similar note The Community is the new name for the Profiles and there might be some expansion on that sometime, possibly including more profiles, information on local leisure facilities and ETC, but for now I just changed the name.

The Institute is thriving once again, with two more additions to the now almost-world-famous Iain Study. Part 7 and Part 8 can now surely only lead to parts 9 to 312 and beyond, which I know you will all be pleased to hear, especially you Rawson. The preview and the Review of Ipswich Town's 8 - 1 victory in the UEFA Cup is here by Kent himself.
Randy has updated LAN Central with RandyLAN4 aka. RandyLANtastic (don't ask), and a picture of a woman as well (don't ask about that either),

This Livejournal is now under the joint control of myself and Rawson, I don't know what, if anything will happen to it now but I thought it was very important that you all knew.
Randy, Kent and I have predicted the final outcome of the Premiership 2002/03 here, just so we can look back at the end of the season to see who knew what they were doing and hopefully crown someone Football Guru of the week for a day.

Firsly, straight into some business, I am currently considering adding a free guestbook somewhere so you can all write pointless crap in it. To help me decide we shall have a poll, to vote please press the red button on your sky remote.
Tomorrow will be RandyLAN4 , I haven't had time to sit and relax for a while and even now I'm getting heckled by Alan to download a HL mod, it's only a matter of time before I form a plan of revenge, more crazy and elaborate than the last, and strike back at my oppressors with a fury not seen since the burning of witches many centuries ago. Until then however, Ipswich Town play Avenir Beggen at Portman Road tonight and tonight Avenir Beggen play Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
The Iain (Rawson) Study, part 7 has arrived straight from The Institute at short notice, and there is also the 2nd Random Quotathon, but other than that nothing is new and nothing is planned, however there are alot of unfinished works around begging for someone with motivation. Hopelessly begging.

The next update will be the post-exam result update, but I will try not to mention them. Instead we have alot more stuff to get out in the open, stuff I intend to mention now without even having coded them yet. Article 154 is a tale of one man and his HD named after a dear friend, and then a couple more from Rawson, who still manages to surprise us by writing more and more. 100 Things About: iThings can't have a description, and then there is the Review of 13 Ghosts, mainly written at the latest lan event, which leads me nicely onto my next news:

D. Randall becomes the fourth creator in the mixer after taking over control of LAN Central, and has already rocked the LAN world with his masterful work, and smooth remixes. Expect alot more to come...

On this day Rawson found his keyboard, and he saw that this was good. He touched a key and saw the shape it made on the screen, and he saw that this was good. Ten minutes later he had re-written the entire works of Shakespeare backwards, learnt an acient form of latin and devised a formula for the creation of a new vaccine that could cut the death toll in developing countries by 3% per millenium. He also wrote 4 articles for a small, and relatively unknown website known as "The Online Net", and it was this which brought about the most satisfaction and physical forfillment.
So finally we have writings on the infamous Prom that we all enjoyed so much on July 5th, and I'm sure you recognise that the length of time to write this represents the attitude toward it in general. We have the Pre-Prom and Prom accounts, which are pretty much connected. After writing 150 and 151, it was then noticed that we didn't recognise hitting 150, I didn't care, but Rawson did and decided to moan about it here. Finally there is the second in the 100 series, and believe me, there are more to come so now is a good time to learn to read - 100 Things About: Life.
Tomorrow is TheRealHenduLAN-2, and on the 22nd we have not only the results of our exams but also PandyLAN. Many are unsure which they fear the most, I don't really care but Barry White still haunts me in my sleep.

Once again, James Davey returns with some more of his acclaimed work including another one of his tributes - this time to Kermit the Frog. Until there is a full write up of The Adventure 2K2, here is another insight into the madness; Mr. B and Me tells the story of one man, and his inflatable banana - nice. Then of course what would a Jameson update be without the seemingly completely random and slightly controversial article straight from the heart. The answer is: it would be poor, so here it is, On the Matter of Obesity.
Just incase you still don't have a clue where you are, or why, I decided to write 100 Things About: the online net. This also signals a new series entitled of course, 100 Things About:, however don't expect it to become that regular as writing 100 things about anything takes a hell of a long time.

The news that has rocked the local community is that David Randall AKA Davey Randy is to be taking over LAN Central very soon, which is definately a good thing, and will keep him off the streets and away from the temptations of drugs and sex. Three new articles to poison your feeble minds, 1st random quotathon is what it sounds like, and isn't to be spoken of again. I think ryan wrote something about a night last week, but I can't remember right now... it's on this page if you want to look.
You've waited long enough so here is the - Second Great TON Golfball Challenge article and that should do you for the next few weeks whilst I think up something fresh and new for your screen.

News has come in from the lads on the adventure in the form of a message from Rawson, and so we find out what they've been doing, and strangely enough it doesn't sound too strange, or too violent.
In local news, I thought today was Monday, it turns out it's in fact Wednesday, unless you are reading this tomorrow. In which case I thought yesterday was monday, and it turned out to be Wednesday.. and so on. I also found out that aliens had landed in my garden, but we can talk about that later.

I don't know where i've been lately, or how many times now I've run my mind over that phone call, but I can now officially conclude the James Davey Conspiracies with Day 4. As you can see above I took advantage of RandyLAN Evolution to capture up-to-date photographic evidence to support my findings. Speaking of the Evolution, I shall do an update to LAN Central sometime this week.
Rawson, Dr Shields, Jameson and Randy have departed (as of yesterday) on the Adventure 2K2, and hopefully, as promised, they will capture some of it on video and let everyone know what happened, the number of groin strains, ritual beatings and so on.
Rib writes that, and soon you might see him hanging around under street corners under the name of hendrix@retardsrule.com, and me wearing my clone t-shirt - I don't know if Ryan is still "directly under the earth's sun", but i'm sure he'll be back soon.
