Monday 30th December 2002:

Well, that's it, the December/Christmas Article run-down is over, and we managed it. 25 Articles in 25 days including Rawson successfully managing to writer number twenty five in time. The forum has been successful in it's first week and the mailing list is available for anyone who wants it, so everything is not too bad.

At the moment, I'm not quite sure how next year is going to work out in the way that nothing has been planned for TON though perhaps that's no change from usual. I shall have to come up with some list of targets for the next year or something so it doesn't get left unattended. Other news on the Network is the [TON] Counter-Strike Clan site made by rusty, which is pretty much done and with more and more people closer than ever to getting broadband, it will only get stronger.

And, finally, the WINNER of the Greatest TON Personality Ever 2002 is Ryan with over 40% of the votes. You can see this on the TON Achievements Page, which I made up the other night. I also think we should have The First Annual TON Awards, so watch out for that.

Community War Officially Launched

A temporary page has been up for a few days now, however the final design has been finished today and is now up for viewing here - or the link is on the left. It features the league table which will be updated after every event as and when they happen, and photos of the action, which many will be familiar with after viewing Community Football pages.

The next War should take place an evening this week, and is scheduled to be the Female Edition, though as always this is subject to change.

Now the Complaints Department and Community War are finished there shouldn't be any new sections or departments anytime soon. So for the short future you can expect a relatively quiet time until the 24 articles in 24 days christmas run starting on December 1st.

Check the Work In Progress page.

On This Day

On this day, 13th November 2002, I finally finish the TON complaints department. After a long time, and a lot of work, it is finally online - and shared to the world. Sadly, I have also been told that this is the last day that I am connected to 2Mbit/sec broadband, and so from this point until the 19th December (when our exchange is upgraded) I shall be sitting on a 56kbit/sec link to Net Direct Online.

May god have mercy on our souls.

SILKQUOTED/VCRFX

I was bored so I decided to update this with something - I wonder if anyone will notice. The Iain Rawson Experience was launched and should be around for a good few months, especially as nobody seem's to have the time to write anymore - but what can you do. Even in the light of this Rawson and I hatched a plan for December 2002, to update with 1 article every day of December until Christmas.. much like advent calender opening. This probably will not work.

Unti December therefore articles written may not be put up so we can create a backlog which will help us to cheat our way to success.

In more important news, I changed the colour of the main image at the top and finally got around to fixing the 2 broken Articles by Rawson that needed coding; Paulo Watch has closed, LAN Central has not been updated and Community Football is once again in hibernation. This is November:
