The long overdue splurge
Finally got 2006 kicked off with a selection of articles written both recently, back in 2005 and towards the start of the year. It's all been a bit of a mess really. Anyway, Rawson wrote some poetry, I wrote about going to Colombia for a few hours, there was interviews about the big trip and of course the same random jibberish we've been producing here for years now. The kind of thing that has no purpose but to reflect the moment it was written. Today 1000 Broken Windows got fixed. Back in business, baby.

Back From Across the Pond
A long time since I was last here, treading these ancient pages, overseeing changes and projects. Most of that has disappeared now, Wiki is still growing, albeit incredibly slowly and there are some photos coming from something but overall Wideasleep has been grinding to a halt for a while. I think we were too productive in our early years. Having said that, my 3 and a half month trip has given me endless amounts of material to write about, a couple of hundred pictures and plenty of ideas to refresh and revitalise this part of the network specifically.
I've also sorted out my own plans and will be heading up to Scotland from September to continue my infrequent but also invaluable work up there. The network is going international now, it would be the wrong time to give it all up. Kent's recent music site is looking particularly impressive, I should give a link: http://www.ukmusicreview.net/. Only yesterday a few of the community gathered again for more Community Football, so updates to that should come over the summer and no doubt the lad's holiday will produce more gloriously inappropriate pages of wit and depravity, see: El 21 Book (which will be online soon, probably). It's good to be back.
