October - December 2006
Six years and counting... That's right, TON is over six years old now, has over five years worth of articles and still no real purpose. The articles dried up again this year, we all knew they would. James came back from the shadows though, which was probably the highlight of 2006 for wideasleep, a year in which Kent's UK Music Review did some good work and not much else went on. Since we may never have the official results from the TON World Cup Predictions, here were the standings minus the points: 1. Jay 2. Chrissy D 3. Rawson 4. Kent The only current feature now running is the annual TON Premiership Predictions. New material is like a snake in the grass, sometimes it'll be there but you can't see it until it bites your face off, sometimes it just isn't there at all. Peace out people, see you in 2007. North of the Border, South of the Sun He's back! James Davey has returned to TON for the first time in 2006 providing a much needed article to a site comfortably in a state of prolonged hibernation. It's a sequal to perhaps the most controversial article of the first year back in 2002. It got him into arguments and confrontation at the time, to the point where it was even requested that it be removed. It didn't happen and now 4 years later we have an updated opinion from the man himself. But what has changed in Jameson: "On Women"? In other news, work on the first chapter of the Oddysee has been postponed whilst I watch the first series of the O.C.
