LAN Rog 2K2 The Online Net: http://www.theonlinenet.co.uk/Following on from aLAN2002 is LAN Rog 2K2, below will hopefully be a list of events worth mentioning on the day for a follow-up article at Rogery attempts to calm the crowd but fails miserably as Rawson falls backwards over a speaker and lands on Randy's bowl of Tesco Value peanuts. Event #1 'Someone', we don't know who, thought it would be funny to put some digestive biscuits in the microwave. Unfortunately they started to burn and had to be 'disposed' of. Rog was and is not impressed. Event #2 Hendy decides to record ROY on the webcam, and is amazed that it actually works, and gets excited.. perhaps too excited.. Event #3 Roy goes missing, shoes have disappeared which could either suggest one of two things: 1.) he's gone for a shit with his shoes on, or 2.) he's gone for a shit in his shoes. Hendy claims to have the last known footage of Roy on his webcam. Event #4 Roy Returns (22:15) Event #5 Hendy decides the time is nigh for a change, and shall soon attempt to swap his monitor and box around to gain that extra vital cable length to capture Roy on webcam. Event #6 Iain is drunk on 1 can and two shots of vodka. (00:30) Event #7 The remaining 9 lads gather around Ainsworth's widescreen in the living room to watch 'films' (Note: the 'films were not Ainsworth's - they were Bono's). Numerous attempts by Rog to bring the madness to an end fail completely and randy admits to more than we wanted to know. Event #8 Iain is finally defeated by the alcohol and collapses in the upstairs toilet and is sick. That'll teach the bugger.. Event #9 Iain is again centre of attention, as he is sick for the 13th time and then collapsed and fell asleep on Rog's bed. The comedy genius of the household decided to capture the moment on digital camera to mock him in future years. Event #10 Hendy, myself, Randy, Alan and Mark complete Serious Sam, and are unimpressed with the ending. Event #11 Roger begins work on a page for LAN ROG, most other people are watching porn and the atmosphere is 'sedate'. Event #12 Less and less games being played, and people are starting to collapse all over the place. Alan in his sleeping bag in an armchair, Rawson/Randy/Hendy on the bed, Jay on the floor etc. Rog can't sleep for fear of waking up to a trashed house or with comedy facial hair. Event #11 Roger begins work on a page for LAN ROG, most other people are watching 'films' and the atmosphere is 'sedate'. Event #12 Rog and his guitar entertain those who can still walk with songs of unmentionable content in the living room. His performance considering fatigue was exceptional and has been invited to perform at the Regent sometime next month. Event #13 Hendy falls asleep on Rog's bed, and is woken up by Andrew punching his leg, only to fall asleep again seconds later. Event #14 Morning comes People start to leave, and LAN ROG 2K2 starts to dissolve.. |
