Stakeout is to be one of our special 'feature' ... features during Summer 2002 and whilst seemingly simple and cretinous it is tinged with a 'what a bloody good thing to do' type feeling, and the main idea of it is this:

On a - tba date - myself and the Robe (TON Creators) will hold a stakeout, definition above, at the bottom of the garden. For 8 hours subject to change we will be camped out by the big fence in 'Location 1'. Our surveillance will be of 3 houses; 'House 1', 'House 2' and 'House 3' with the aim of completing the following objectives

1. Determine whether or not anybody actually lives within this houses.
2. Obtain photographic evidence
3. Last the whole 8 hours without cracking

We expect these 8 hours subject to change will be challenging but satisfying, and do not expect to move much during this period as it's vital to the success of this that we stay within a close proximity to 'Location 1' and Houses 1 to 3. The preperation for this time is just as important, if not more, than the time itself, and therefore we have to cover every possibility.

Possible Dangers:
One of the main dangers we have alerted ourselves to when considering this feature was the close-by danger of a Bumble Bee nest hidden by a compost heap. We have however decided the risk is outweighed by the oppotunity cost, and we cannot let this ruin things. If one of us does get stung during the time, medical staff will be on hand to kill the bastards.

Termination of Operation:
This shall be avoided at all costs, but if for medical reasons, family tradegies (within reason) or something good on tv, we may have to abandon the task. It is unlikely this shall be attempted more than once, so there is no practise run and we will have to get it right first time.

Adverse Weather Conditions:
This is one thing that we will not allow to ruin proceedings, and will have the necessary equipment on standby should any weather arrive. Excluding a tsunami.

Laptop, Digital Camera, Webcam, x2 Binoculars, Maglite torch, Sketchpad and stationary, Mobile Cellular Communications Device, Wigwam and much, much more!
