History:

The Online Net was created partly because of boredom but more likely because it was free, had it cost anything it would not exist to this day except maybe on Geocities, and nobody would want that. We wanted to create a humorous page filled with wit and intelligent comedy, if only we knew now that there isn't a market for such a thing, maybe we would've just stuck to games, music or women. Seeing as the majority of work is done by one person, there isn't much room for experimentation so we stick to what we appear to do best; have opinions about stuff. The amount of designs over the months is more than we can recall, all of them done by Jay, as his HTML knowlege has improved so has the design to what you see today, and he still doesn't know it fluently. We've gone through technical difficulties, weeks without updating, attempts of sabotage, complaints, insults, hate mail, accusations and disrespect but we're still here and have no plans to sell the address. The name came about when Jay was trying to think of an 'on-the-fence' name which wouldn't hold us to one category or subject, one that would allow complete freedom with it's content. The primary choice was The Net Online but this was and is unavailable so we took the next best thing. Thanks must also go to Rona Colson for inspiration during the naming process.

Thanks:
Thankyou to ourselves for being ourselves, we couldn't do it without you. Thankyou to MTV for it's 'Non-Stop Pop' which kept us awake during the long nights. Thankyou to FreeNetName for being cheap and rubbish. Thankyou to people with eyes for looking. Thankyou to Sainsburys and Tescos for feeding us. Thankyou to WS_FTP for allowing us to upload this crap. Thankyou to Jay for being god on earth. Thankyou to Americans for nothing. Thankyou to all the people who do stupid things which allows us to ridicule them like the fools they are. Thankyou to Rawson. Thankyou.
